The short version. We collect the data needed to run the site and fulfil your orders, we don't sell it, and you can ask us what we hold or to delete it. Details below.
1. Who we are
Swift TT ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through swift-tt.com. Contact us at support@swift-tt.com.
2. Data we collect
- Order data: name, email, shipping and billing address, items purchased.
- Payment data: processed by our payment provider; we don't store full card details.
- Usage data: pages viewed and interactions, collected via our first-party analytics.
- Contact data: messages you send us by email or form.
3. How we use it
- To process and deliver orders and provide customer support.
- To operate, secure and improve the site and understand what content is useful.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
- To send marketing where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
4. Legal bases
We rely on contract to fulfil orders, legitimate interests to run and improve the site, consent for marketing, and legal obligation for accounting and tax records.
5. Sharing
We share data with service providers that help us operate, including our e-commerce/checkout provider (Shopify), payment processors, hosting (Cloudflare) and delivery carriers. They process data on our instructions. We don't sell personal data.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use our own first-party analytics to understand how the site is used. It is cookieless, relies on no third-party analytics provider, and doesn't store your raw IP address — unique visitors are counted using a key that rotates every day. See our Cookie Policy for details.
7. Retention
We keep order and tax records for as long as required by law (currently 6 years in the UK) and other data only as long as needed for the purposes above.
8. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your data, and to data portability. Email support@swift-tt.com to exercise them. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our store isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
